I am currently four months post partum with my first child (and so far considering our only child). He is a beautiful baby boy, and I am exclusively nursing him. I would love to know more about keeping up my supply and also about moving into giving him his first foods when the time comes. I am loving being a mother and am trying to embody that in other aspects of my life.
Aww congratulations 🥹 I (Annika) am a first time mom myself and it feels like yesterday I was four months postpartum, so it's all very fresh for me! I am still breastfeeding and have learned the BEST way to keep up supply is staying very hydrated with mineral-rich drinks and teas, eating a lot (breastfeeding hunger already helps with that thankfully lol) and oats are really helpful for me as well. We'll talk more about all this stuff, but we're so glad you're here! Thank you for the comment!
I’m 27 wks pregnant with my first and have recently been noticing so many shifts mentally and have begun taking “audits” of so many areas in my life. Been around since the W&WF community and truly love the space you both foster. Looking forward to what’s to come in this space especially as I transition to motherhood 🫶🏼
Hi Jenna! Congratulations! That is so exciting 🥹 it sounds like you'll be giving birth & postpartum in the fall, which I think is such a good time to be postpartum. It will be so cozy and you can eat all the warm/nourishing recovery foods and soups! Anyway, we'd love to hear more about the shifts you're feeling, because we can completely relate. Pregnancy is a time that totally restructures your brain as you prepare to transition from maiden to mother! We're so happy you're here!
